National tree planting day in Congo-Brazzaville

In November 2019, the Inros Lackner team planted around 70 trees for Congo-Brazzaville’s national "Tree Day".

In 1986, November 6th was declared a national holiday by law in Congo-Brazzaville – National tree planting day. All the country’s residents are called upon to plant at least one tree on that day each year.

Since then, the holiday has established itself as an important national event during which government representatives support the initiative with efforts that go far beyond planting a single tree. In this way, the Congo is continually making an important contribution to the preservation of the world's tree population and the active protection of our ecosystem.

On 6th November 2019, Inros Lackner's team supported the local forest minister's initiative and planted around 70 trees on the grounds of the new Denis Sassou Nguesso University in Kintélé, Brazzaville.
